High protein BBQ sauce

This innovative BBQ sauce uses cottage cheese as a secret ingredient to boost protein content while maintaining a smooth, creamy texture. Combined with fresh blackberries and classic BBQ staples, it provides a unique, high-protein alternative to traditional sauces, adding an extra 14 grams of protein to your meal.
Ingredients
- 2 packs of fresh blackberries
- Water (for boiling berries)
- 1/2 cup Good Culture cottage cheese
- Hunt's Tomato Ketchup
- Worcestershire sauce
- Texas Pete Hot Sauce
- Grandma's Molasses
- Yellow mustard
- Apple cider vinegar
- **Seasonings & Sauce:**
- Reserved dry rub/seasonings from your ribs

1 Boil down the blackberries in a small pot with water with 1/2 cup of water

2 Mash the berries to release their juices, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the seeds.

3 In a blender, combine 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 3 tablespoons the blackberry juice and blend until completely smooth. (use more blackberry juice for smoother consistency)

4 Pour the blended mixture back into a pot and add 1/3 cup ketchup, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp hot sauce, 1/2 tbsp molasses, 1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp and apple cider vinegar.

5 Stir in the reserved rib seasonings and whisk everything together over low heat until well combined.

6 Generously brush the sauce onto cooked ribs.

7 Place the ribs under the broiler for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce, watching closely to prevent burning.
