High-Protein Roasted Cornish Hens

Ingredients
- 2 Cornish hens
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- 5-6 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 whole carrots, chopped
- 5 pieces of celery, chopped
- Homemade bone broth
- Olive oil
- **Seasonings & Sauce:**
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Smoked paprika
- Chicken bouillon
- All-purpose seasoning
- Ranch seasoning
- Goya Sazonador Total seasoning
- (Start with 1/2 tbsp of each and season to your liking)

Chop the carrots, celery, and onion, and mince the garlic.

In a large bowl, toss the chopped vegetables and garlic with olive oil and a portion of the seasoning blend.

Prepare the Cornish hens by cleaning them and patting them dry.

Create a rub by mixing the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chicken bouillon, all-purpose, ranch, and Sazonador Total seasonings.

Generously coat the hens with the seasoning rub, ensuring you cover all sides.

Place the seasoned vegetables in the bottom of a large roasting pan and pour in the homemade bone broth.

Lay the seasoned Cornish hens on top of the bed of vegetables.
