High-Protein Shrimp Garlic Pasta

This low-carb, high-fiber shrimp pasta is a delicious way to enjoy Italian flavors while staying on track with your fitness and GLP-1 goals. By using high-protein fusilli and fresh shrimp, this dish packs 20 grams of protein per serving and uses a base of garlic, shallots, and white wine for a sophisticated flavor profile.
Ingredients
- Raw shrimp
- Kaizen high-protein fusilli pasta
- 1 shallot, diced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- Olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup white wine
- Gouda cheese, shredded
- Fresh parsley
- Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- **Seasonings & Sauce:**
- Smoked paprika
- Cayenne
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder

Season the shrimp with smoked paprika, cayenne, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil.

Sauté the shrimp in a hot pan for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until fully cooked, then remove and set aside.

Boil the high-protein fusilli until al dente.

In the same pan used for the shrimp, sauté the diced shallots and minced garlic until fragrant.

Deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine, then add 2 tbsp of butter and additional seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, etc.) to create the sauce.
