This flavorful and high-protein dinner features a miso-marinated black cod, which is a more affordable alternative to the famous Nobu dish. It is paired with savory Enoki mushrooms and fluffy white rice for a satisfying, restaurant-quality meal at home.
Ingredients
- Miso Marinated Black Cod (Sablefish) from Costco
- Enoki mushrooms
- White rice
- Chopped garlic
- 3 drops sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Korean chili pepper paste
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp ground fresh chili paste
- 1 tbsp chili onion crunch
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- A splash of water
- **Seasonings & Sauce:**
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- All-purpose seasoning
- Paprika
- (Start with a teaspoon of each and then add more as needed)

Preheat the oven to a broil setting and place the cod on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Drizzle any remaining marinade from the package over the fish.

Broil for a few minutes until caramelized on top, then reduce the temperature to $400^{\circ}\text{F}$ and bake until cooked through.

Trim and separate the Enoki mushrooms.

In a small bowl, whisk together the tomato paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili oil.
