Pikliz is a traditional Haitian condiment packed with fiber and probiotics, it is a perfect, gut-healthy addition to any wellness-focused diet, including GLP-1 friendly lifestyles.
Ingredients
- 1 head of cabbage
- 3–4 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 large onion
- 2 large carrots
- Brine & Seasoning
- 4 limes (juiced)
- 1 cup white distilled vinegar
- 4 scotch bonnet peppers (tops removed)
- 2 heaping spoonfuls of Knorr chicken bouillon

Prep the Vegetables: Cut the cabbage into quarters and shred it thinly using a mandoline. Shred the bell peppers and onion using the mandoline as well. Peel the carrots using a peeler. Combine all shredded vegetables in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Brine: Combine the lime juice, white distilled vinegar, and scotch bonnet peppers. Blend for about 30 seconds until the mixture is not chunky.

Season and Mix: Pour the brine mixture over the vegetables. Add the Knorr chicken bouillon. Mix everything thoroughly by hand, ensuring the vegetables are well-coated.

Package: Transfer the mixture into a clean glass jar, pressing it down, and pour any remaining brine from the bowl into the jar.
